Hey William Cotton [PG-rated Local Politics Rant]
Hey William Cotton: let's play soccer with your balls. Oh wait, you don't have any. And apparently your integrity is worth $1,750. Hope that works out for you in prison and all.
Maybe you can buy a subscription to Martha magazine with the bribe money. That's the great thing about this country: even scumbags are able to buy a magazine with quick & easy instructions on how to make seasonally-matched window curtains for a 6x9 cell.
I sincerely hope, William, that you repent publicly, quickly, and truly. I also sincerely hope that you, and all you represent, will never represent our town again. Have a nice, long stay in jail.

$47,000, but the point stands. He looks quite fetching in handcuffs.

Was that the total? I was referring to the first bribe he took, $3,000, that Sugar Daddy Love gave him minus pimping fee.
Personally, goading Leamon Pierce into sucker-punching a handcuffed Cotton would be priceless. And carthritic. Perhaps even fetching.

Math was never my finest quality (we've previously established this). I was terrifically off on my last effort. About $42,250 off. But once you take away Love's bagman cuts, his total from two bribes looks to be $4,750. (Same for Charles, who I'm sure wishes he'd simply let his friend keep all of it.)
We need to find a way to parade Cotton past the county jail. (Pierce holds court on the sidewalk there from time to time.) Since he may soon be in the building, I'm sure we can arrange something.
