hmmm... rabbit at 1800... perhaps an eagle snagged a rabbit, got caught in a thermal, rose to that altitude and then released the rabbit when it was approached by the plane?
Or maybe it was just aliens.

The FAA should be more understanding: Rabbits can, and do, strike anywere. I was struck in a public bathroom once...terrifying.

...and apparently, memorable.
You know that woeful new saw "Eagles may fly high, but weasles don't get sucked into jet engines"? Well, I am now armed with proof that it is, on the whole, geese that get sucked into jet engines. Not that anyone who sports a sig with that nasty bit o' drivel will care.
Their indifference does nothing to my statistical high ground.

Someone should coin the term "stapaphy," meaning indifference to statistics. Someone like myself.
On a personal note, I miss seeing your person. We should get a beer.

I am seriously in the wrong line of work:
"(this is tested in the lab by firing a chicken from a cannon at point-blank range)"
I didn't see a booth for this at the job fair.

That article is quite full of the little gems, isn't it?
Mesh, I don't know where you got stapaphy. It certainly wasn't from me. I got tested for it just today.
On an unrelated note, I miss my person as well. Busy. A beer, my dear, once my sinuses are in the clear. I'll give you a ring and cheer.
